On-board units (OBUs) – Systems that allow road pricing on certain routes. The unit is installed and activated on board a vehicle, and records the route taken by it. Toll charges can then be applied accordingly to vehicles which have to pay tolls, as fixed or mobile portals at certain points along the route can check if the vehicle has an active OBU.
We have rolled out this system for trucks throughout Belgium.

We installed gantries in about 40 places in Belgium to check whether passing vehicles have an active OBU on board.
