ENGIE Fabricom has been specialising in installing major solar parks for more than 20 years. Copley Farm, a solar park in the United Kingdom, is the largest completed project so far.
Copley Solar was looking for a reliable, experienced partner for the construction of a solar park covering more than 16 hectares. A solar power installation lasts for at least 20 years, so a stable and trusty partner is essential, and ENGIE Fabricom proved to be the most qualified at every level. Copley Farm has a capacity of 29.95 MW, enough to provide power to 8,200 families for a year.
15,000 tonnes less CO2 per year
ENGIE Fabricom installed 1,200 tables with 96 panels each over an area of 500,000 m², capable of generating 29.95 MW. This textbook example of a renewable energy supply means 15,150 tonnes less CO2 will be emitted to the atmosphere every year.
