New lighting for Belgium’s oldest football club
Royal Antwerp FC’s old stand was demolished and replaced by a new, modern infrastructure with seats for 5,600 spectators. In this project, ENGIE Fabricom took care of the electrical installations, including lighting.
A new football experience
Things had remained unchanged for a long time at the Bosuil stadium, home to the football club Royal Antwerp FC. Apart from a few minor renovations, hardly anything had been spent on the stadium of Belgium’s oldest football club for decades. The new Tribune 1 has made match days much more enjoyable for spectators, and allowed the club to rise to a different level.
Every detail in the new 16,600 m² complex was looked at carefully, and now boasts every facility necessary: changing rooms for players and referees, a media centre for the press, emergency services, multipurpose halls, 18 boxes, VIP rooms, etc.
Antwerp FC now has a whole new appearance, and offers excellent conditions for receiving supporters and partners from the Antwerp business world.
ENGIE Fabricom’s role
ENGIE Fabricom was responsible for the electrical installations, and provided the 5-storey stand with electricity and lighting in record time despite changing conditions on the site.
